Meyer Dave 15 Months

This. Kid.
This silly, sensitive momma's boy is growing into a toddler right before our eyes!
He literally could not be any cuter, but I might be a little bias.

He weighs in at 20# and 15oz and he's 30.5" tall...on the petite side or "a trim young man" as our doc likes to call him.
He wears size 12-18 month clothes, size 3/4 shoes and size 4/5 diapers.
As you can plainly see, Meyer can walk! It is still crazy to me when I turn around and see him toddling into a room. He still is the fastest crawler in all the wild west though, and when he gets a chance he is right back on those hands and knees just whizzin' on by!
Meyer has 4 little teeth, just two on the top and two on the bottom...so weird because his older sister and brother had way more at this age, like 3x more; I keep waiting for more to poke through...maybe even molars! But for now he is just gummin' his way through life and we aren't dealing with painful teething so I will take it!
All of a sudden he is spoutin' out words left and right...my favorite it "Elliette!" such a big word for such a little boy...but he loves his big sissy.
Some other words in his vocabulary are....
"Mom"
"Dad"
"Bruh-Buh"
"Sadie"
"Ball"
"Thank You"
"Hi"
"Bye"
"Cheese"
aaaaand
"nun-nun" which is his word for "nurse" because we are still proudly breastfeeding at least 3x a day.
He can also use sign language, he knows the sign for "more, please and all-done".
He is a middle-of-the-road eater...there isn't much he won't try at least a bite of; sometimes he scarfs up everything we put in front of him and sometimes he barely touches it...ah toddler-hood where all good eaters go to die...One of his favorites at the moment is a cheesy omelet!

To say this boy has completed our family is an understatement...he is the perfect icing on our family cake.

Halloween

Our Halloween was a week long celebration including pumpkin carving, cookie decorating, festive costumes, class parties, school carnivals, trick or treating and wayyyyy too much candy for our own good. Even though of couple of us suffered from the stomach flu just a few days prior, everyone was nice and healthy for Halloween night and fun was had by all!

Ending the weekend with a candy hangover, homemade meatball subs for the Bronco game, and being super thankful that there isn't any school tomorrow! Happy Halloween!!

The Corn Maze

I know the first day of autumn was like a month ago, but its been unseasonably hot here the last few weeks so we haven't really been able to get into the fall spirit. We remedied that this past weekend by going to the corn maze, one of our favorite fall activities! We had so much fun navigating the mazes, visiting the petting zoo, riding the tractor, shooting off the apple cannons, and jumping on the big bounce pillow! The kids played their little hearts out and napped the rest of their little hearts out the whole way home. Such a fun day to kick off "fall"...all that's left is pumpkin carving and cookie decorating this weekend, and a couple Halloween parties before costumes and candy galore!

P.S. I made my favorite french toast for brunch on Sunday morning and it's just too good not to share!
